DCI is a Southern African System Integrator and Distributor for barcoding, scanning, labeling, cabling, connectors, printing and radio frequency identification applications. DCI have also recently introduced Taggy, the electronic shelf label, a radio frequency tag developed to replace the traditional paper labels seen on shelves within retail and warehouse stores. 

With over 30 years experience, DCI specializes in system design, development supply, installation and integration. DCI’s head office is situated in Gauteng with a branch in Port Elizabeth and Durban.  DCI Scanning is a Datalogic Quality partner and authorised repair center (on site facility) to all Datalogic product ranges

DCI Scanning also distributes the Unitech range of Handheld Scanners & Mobile Computers. Argox, Zebra and Citizen barcode and receipt printers including an on site repair facility for all Zebra printers.

In addition DCI has on going business relationships with several companies focused in vertical markets, such as system integrators, material handling consultants, point of sale suppliers and automation companies. Ninety five percent of DCI’s business is carried out directly with the end user thus minimizing clients’ risk.
