ASSET LABELS & LABELLING (ASSET MARKING TAGS)
There are two major label solutions that work best when marking assets. Aluminium Labels and Syntex Labels are a few of the most rugged labels that can last harsh environments and time. DCI Scanning recommends these two solutions, but are not isolated to these options only
SYNTEX LABELS l ALUMINIUM LABELS
Syntex is a plastic film label that can be printed with a thermal transfer barcode printer and a resin ribbon. Syntex Barcode Labels are ideal for marking assets inside buildings and stores that require marking for shorter period of times.
These labels can also be pre-printed from DCI. All you need to do is determine a numbering format or seqeuntial number type. i.e UJ0001 - UJ1000 » Difficult To Remove after Long Periods » Withstands Environment Conditions » Print Your Own Codes » Comes In Various Sizes » Extremely Durable Barcode Label
Aluminium labels are the ideal barcode label type when marking your assets. These aluminium labels are extremely strong, long lasting, easy to apply and virtually impossible to remove. High-quality adhesive may pre-applied to the rear of the barcode labels when required by customers, with two types being available. The cheaper of the adhesives permits “peel off and stick” application, while the more expensive one requires activation with industrial acetone prior to application. If the activation process and subsequent application is carried out correctly, this adhesive ensures that the barcode cannot be removed from the surface to which it is adhering without either destroying the label itself or the underlying surface. The durability of the anodised aluminium surface, together with the high-quality adhesive, ensures that a label remains legible and attached to an asset for its useful life.
