The LRP-Long Range Passive series has enjoyed great success in industrial applications world-wide. The LRP Series controllers and antenna's are among the most rugged and durable products for use in manufacturing environments.
All LRP 820/830 type controllers operate with a series of remote antenná's for ease of installation in tight quarters. A special feature of the LRP Series is the ability to read and write to RFID tags based on Philips (now NXP) ICOde 1 chip, including the older line of EMS LRP (non-S) tags.
For Each LRP model type, the "830"product code designates DeviceNet interface capability. The added code "(S)" designates DeviceNet interface capability. The added code "(S)"designates model variants which communicate to the ICode SLI version of LRP Tags, rather than the ICode 1 tags.
