Datalogic's data concentrator, MX4000, offers high communication performance, excellent connectivity, and advanced software tools for monitoring and control of data collection networks. MX4000 has been designed for high speed data collection in a multidrop network of Datalogic bar code readers..
Through MX4000, a multi-station reading system or a single reading station in a multi-head configuration for 360° reading around the conveyor, can be realized in a very simple way. Thanks to a multitasking application program, the MX4000 unit collects data, controls the status of the readers and elaborates statistics. MX4000 is fitted with 2 serial interfaces for communication with the host computer and makes connection to the most popular industrial Buses very easy.
Specific models for the most popular Profibus-DP and Interbus-S are available. Virtually all industrial buses can be connected through standard interface boards. MX4000 is easily configured by the WINHOST™ software program. Through the MX4000, WINHOST™can perform set up procedures on the connected scanners with benefits in time saving, reliability and flexibility.
